Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn’t

Most of these books were featured on this blog as part of my Waiting on Wednesday posts. Some of them I completely forgot about by the time they were released, some of them the library didn’t have when I checked (but does now!), and some of them I checked out from the library but didn’t have time to read before I had to return them. (Those were mostly during my reading/blogging slump in the spring.) I have them all — the ones I don’t already own — on a special list for the library so I remember to request them, one or two at a time, in 2016.

Paper or Plastic by Vivi Barnes Apprentice by Rachel E. Carter The Summer After You and Me by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski

99 Days by Katie Cotugno First There Was Forever by Juliana Romano The Boys Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick Tonight The Streets Are Ours by Leila Sales

Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave by Jen White The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly by Stephanie Oakes The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall

  1. the conspiaracy of us was good… I really liked. I enjoyed 99 days as well. the rest i haven’t read either. maybe you will get to them this year. of course now we have to worry about 2016 releases

  2. I hate checking books out and then never getting to them- it’s hard to take them back! Looks like a good list- 99 Days and Tonight the Streets Are Ours both sound fun.

  3. Oooo The Boy Most Likely Too! How did I forget about that one, I loved My Life Next Door! 🙁 I really wanted to read 99 Days last year too, it is currenlty sat on my bookshelf looking pretty and gathering dust!
I really like the look of Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave, in fact I just added it to my TBR. I’ve not read anything about characters so young since I was a child so that should be interesting. Plus I really love the cover.
I hope you get round to reading these in 2016!

    • I checked out The Boy Most Likely To but I wasn’t in the mood to read it when I had it from the library. I had just read What I Thought Was True and while I liked it, I didn’t love it the way I loved My Life Next Door and the way I thought I would. I’m hoping The Boy Most Likely To will make it up to me.

There’s a lot of really good middle grade books out there. I hope you like Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave if you get the chance to read it.

  4. Great list! I really loved My Life Next Door, so obviously I’d love to read The Boy Most Likely To. I hope it’ll be good! 99 days was quite a good read, I hope you’ll enjoy it! 😀
    Happy reading! 🙂

  5. I actually only got around to reading one of these, and that was The Summer After You and Me. It was a very light and fluffy read, which I loved. I hope you get around to reading all of these this year, Jenna! 🙂

  8. I have had 99 Days sat on my bookcase for a while now and STILL haven’t read it! *hangs head in shame* I hope we both get round to reading that one soon! I absolutely loved My Life Next Door but for some stupid reason haven’t read Boy Most Likely To yet either! Another one we both need to read! (Yeay I’m not alone with these two!)
I have seen Map of Fates on a lot of lists this week, so I’m gad to see that I’m not the only one who hasn’t read this series yet. I’ve been meaning to read The Conspiracy of Us for a while but there always seems to be another book that I pick up first!
I really hope you get to read all of these books (I hope I get to read them too!) Happy Reading 🙂

  9. I’ve heard wonderful things about The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly! I didn’t heard much about it when it first released, and the synopsis didn’t really sell me, but the more I hear about it, the more intrigued I am. Great list!
