I went to Target five times this week. First I went for some stuff I needed, but they were out of Brigitta’s antacid medicine and their entire refrigerated and frozen food section was completely empty other than beer and ice cream, so I had to go to a second Target the next day. Then, after I was home I decided I wanted a dry erase board for my desk, which has a built-in cabinet with doors. I’ve had this desk for years but I suddenly had to have a dry erase board for the inside of one of the cabinet doors. That was my third trip. (The school supply area was INSANE. People everywhere!) I forget what I went for the fourth time, but after that trip I decided I wanted another dry erase board for the other cabinet door, so back to Target I went.
One of my boards is not sticking very well, so I think I’m going to have to go again this week for some Command strips. I should have used those instead of the mounting material they came with because the Command strips are removable and the ones I used aren’t (except in the case of the non-sticking one, apparently).
At least I drive by Target daily.
I also visited the library twice (picking up requests, and then more requests came in), CVS twice (forgot an item), and Walgreens twice (refilling Brigitta’s prescription), and three grocery stores (for different sales items). No wonder I’m so tired. I feel like I spent all my time this week driving around from store to store. Plus I worked a full week!
I hate to admit that I made absolutely no attempt to even start my ARC August books, but I started this month close to finishing several books that I wanted to finish them up before starting any ARCs, and I have some library books I need to read so I can return them. I am starting my first ARC today, so I’m going to try to read two this week to make up for slacking last week. But I still have library books to read, so…
@ rather be reading ya
The winner of this month’s My TBR List poll was Reunited by Hilary Weisman Graham! I’ll post my review on August 29.
