Waiting on Wednesday: The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine.

The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley FitzpatrickThe Boy Most Likely To (My Life Next Door #2) by Huntley Fitzpatrick
Publication date: August 18, 2015

Tim Mason was The Boy Most Likely To:
– find the liquor cabinet blindfolded
– need a liver transplant
– drive his car into a house

Alice Garrett was The Girl Most Likely To:
– well, not date her little brother’s baggage-burdened best friend, for starters.

For Tim, it wouldn’t be smart to fall for Alice. For Alice, nothing could be scarier than falling for Tim. But Tim has never been known for making the smart choice, and Alice is starting to wonder if the “smart” choice is always the right one. When these two crash into each other, they crash hard.

Then the unexpected consequences of Tim’s wild days come back to shock him. He finds himself in a situation that isn’t all it appears to be, that he never could have predicted . . . but maybe should have.

And Alice is caught in the middle.

I loved the first book in this series, My Life Next Door. I am currently reading What I Thought Was True by the same author (but unrelated to this series) and am liking it less. It’s still good, just not as good as I thought it would be. I’m really looking forward to a return to the world of My Life Next Door, but at the same time I’m nervous that I won’t like it as much. I’m #5 on the waiting list at the library, so I shouldn’t have too long to wait.

  1. This is a really popular one. I haven’t read the previous book but I’m curious about the story from this blurb and cover. Thanks for sharing 🙂

    Happy Wednesday!

    • This is a “companion” so I think you could read it without reading the other book, but I do highly recommend My Life Next Door. I read it right before I started blogging so it looks like I didn’t review it.

  2. I’ve not read a Huntley Fitzpatrick book but everyone talks about this author so maybe it’s about time I jump on it! The synopsis of this novel sounds intriguing and the cover is beautiful and very summery! Awesome post, Jenna!
