Money Matters: February 2015

I’ve seen other bloggers, like Berls at Fantasy is More Fun and Felicia at The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog, with book budget posts. It made me curious how much I’m spending on books each year. I have a rough idea, because I have an entertainment budget, but I’d like to get more detailed. I’m not going to try to stick to a set goal the way Berls and Felicia do, but it might end up making me think twice about buying a book if I know I have to be accountable for it here. Or maybe not!

I’ll be posting an update of the previous month’s spending on the second Saturday of each month.

  1. You did pretty wel this month, especially when you realize you got 20 new books for less then 20$. Got to love those freebies and review copies. I find it interesting to see how many bloggers spend on books each month.

  2. If you’re turning this into a meme, I may be participating – it’s been weeks that I’ve been trying to cut down on the book buying binge 🙂

  3. OMG. I love this because I am so bad at managing my money. You must teach me your ways!

    • If I had been doing this before I got my library card in January, it would look a lot different. I’m buying a lot less books than I did before. There are still new releases that I plan to buy, but right now I’m keeping busy with the library books and I’m trying to catch up with review books too.
