Weekly Rewind: January 25-31

The Weekly Rewind is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I don’t like football or commercials so I’ll be spending the Super Bowl reading. I was looking forward to today because it was supposed to snow, but now it looks like it’s going to be almost all rain. Not fair. It seems like everyone else has had snow this winter but us.

@ rather be reading ya

  1. We had two days of snow so far, the kinds of snow that was gone the next day, so that was a bit disapointing. I lvoe how serene everything looks when it has snowed. It looks so pretty, although I hate traveling when it has snowed. I hope you’ll get some snow this year!

Nice haul you got this week! That cover for Sweet is so well done, it took me a few seconds to realize it was upside down.

    • We had a few inches of snow in November and since then maybe an inch twice. They keep saying it’s going to snow and then it doesn’t. They said it was going to rain yesterday and turn to snow today. There was no rain yesterday at all. It’s been raining for hours today and they’re saying there’s going to be a little snow but I don’t think there will.

  3. Nice books this week. I grabbed The Snow and the Darkness too! Doesn’t it sound good?
No snow here. It actually was in the 70s and sunny and I enjoyed it. Looks rainy today so I’ll spend my time inside reading too:)

  4. We didn’t get any snow all week, so I thought we were in the clear, and felt bad for the folks out east. Then overnight and this morning we got a mini blizzard. Joy. 🙂 I’m ambivalent about the Super Bowl, this year just not into it, so we might not even watch. Who knows. Reading sound good.

    Have a nice week.

  6. I’m hoping to get some reading done soon. The game is on and looks good but it’s raining and rainy nights are meant for reading. So sorry you didn’t get any snow but stay warm. Have a great week!

  8. I’m not a fan of football either but our friends were having a party so the Mr and I went over. Half of the game we didn’t even watch, just sat around eating, drinking, and chatting. The second half was spent with me asking a ton of questions. I honestly just don’t understand the game at all.
As for the books… I got a copy of Sweet as well. I’m excited to read it. 🙂
