2015 Audiobook Challenge

The 2015 Audiobook Challenge is hosted by The Book Nympho and Hot Listens.

I love audiobooks but I’ve been really into podcasts for the last couple of years and my audiobook listening has suffered. I want to change that though. I don’t know how I’m going to manage a heavy schedule of podcasts and audiobooks, but I really want to go back to audiobooks! I’m trying for the Weekend Warrior level, but I’m hoping to listen to more than 10. I might have to cut back on some of my podcasts, but do I really need to listen to four different podcasts about the same TV shows?

01. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (January 20)
02. The Truth About Twinkie Pie by Kat Yeh (January 29)
03. Carter’s Big Break by Brent Crawford (April 21)
04. The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (August 21)

  1. Good luck reading your audiobook goal! 🙂 I started listening to my first proper audiobook last night, it’s harder than I thought. I zone out if I’m doing something else, think I’ll have to experiment with how to listen (maybe a bedtime story type thing lol)

  3. I really enjoy listening to audiobooks but I’m super slow with them. It takes me about 3 weeks go get through one as I’m fussy about when I listen to them but I have to admit it’s a fantastic way of multi-tasking. Good luck with your challenge.

    • I listen when I’m running so if I listen daily I can get through one in just a few days. Sometimes I want to listen to other things so it can take me months to finish one! Right now I think I need new earbuds because I’m having problems with sound and I noticed the wire is poking through the plastic covering. I tried using tape to fix it and hold it in place, but I’m still having trouble with it.
