Weekly Rewind: November 2-8

The Weekly Rewind is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I’m afraid it might be time to get out the winter coat. I’ve been getting by with a jacket and layers up until now, but it’s supposed to get much colder later this week.

I worked a lot this week, but I also got a lot of blogging done. I scheduled four posts for Blog Ahead and I have two more posts in the works. I’m usually off Sundays but unfortunately I have to work today so I don’t think I’ll have much time for blogging — or for visiting other people’s Sunday posts. 🙁

@ rather be reading ya
The winner of the My TBR List meme for November was Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen.

I love Robin Hood stories, so I’m excited to read it, although I won’t be able to start it until the Ho-Ho-Ho Holiday Readathon is over. I’ll be posting my review the last Saturday of the month.

  1. Awesome haul! For Real sounds like a pretty good book. I’ll definitely have to purchase it! I hope you enjoy your books. 🙂

  2. Yeah it is starting to be winter. I had to wear a winter coat and boots last weekend when it SNOWED. Have I mentioned I want to live somewhere without deep winter?
That first cover looked, at first, like Nicole Kidman mixed with A Clockwork Orange. Not so much at second glance.

  3. Here the weather has been weird, some days it’s cold and other days are pretty mild. I hope we’re getting some colder weather soon. I like wearing multiple layers in the house and then curling up on the couch with my rats and a good book. I started wearing sweathers this week and our rats love to sit in the hood.

Yay for getting some posts scheduled for Blog Ahead. I got 8 posts done this week, although some took very little time, while others took a lot of time.

I voted for Scarlet, so I am hapy it won. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

    • That reminds me, I need to get to reading Scarlet before I forget! Thanksgiving is coming up and I’m still not sure what our plans are, but if we’re going to be traveling or hosting, my reading and blogging time will be limited for a few days.

  4. The Believing Game is one that has been on my TBR list for awhile now. It looks like you have some really great books to look forward to! I’m hoping to play catch up today and get a few book reviews written for the upcoming week. Have a great Sunday! Happy reading!

  5. I think I picked that one for the My To-Be Read list 🙂 Hope you enjoy it.
It’s getting very chilly here too and I just bought a new jacket and hoping it comes soon because the one I have is pretty much falling apart. Oh and I need new Jeans too because the Capris I have been wearing aren’t going to do anymore lol
Enjoy your new reads and Have a great week!
