Weekly Rewind: October 12-18

The Weekly Rewind is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I don’t really have anything to share this week. I’m disappointed that baseball season is done for the Cardinals, but my husband is originally from Kansas City so he’ll be watching he Royals in the World Series. He remembers their last WS win — 29 years ago.

  2. My husband says I’m the worst baseball fan ever. I live in NY, so should root for Mets or NYY, but I’m just always so happy when a team like the Royals gets a chance to win the World Series. Hope your husband enjoys watching!

    • I pretty much follow the Cardinals and don’t care about the rest of the teams. Sad stories like “we haven’t won in a century” don’t get to me. Put a better team on the field then! My husband doesn’t really follow the Royals anymore, but he’ll be happy if they win.

  3. Sorry to hear about the Cards, we were watching that game… go KC! I’d like to see the Royals win it… they were one of those teams that I liked as a kid just because I thought they had a cool name! LOL. It would be nice to see them take it all this year.

  4. We are Yankees fans so we have been out of this season for a while now. They didn’t play so well this year ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s nice to have a quiet week.

  5. I had tuned out of baseball when the Braves’ season self-destructed so didn’t realize the Royals were going to the World Series. Wow! Good for them and the fans definitely deserve it after 29 years! Have a great week!

    • I don’t really follow other teams either, but I usually know who’s going to the World Series. I don’t watch though, unless the Cardinals are in it. My DVR is almost full, so I have plenty of other things to watch.

  9. Haha…your week sounds like mine. It’s been a real let down to not have my Cardinals playing baseball. I can’t get behind KC, though. I remember that WS 29 years ago, too, and ‘the call’! But I can’t get behind the Giants either, so I’m sitting this one out!
