Weekly Rewind: August 31 – September 6

The Weekly Rewind is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

life
Like I discussed last week, I’ve been pretty busy offline. We’ve decided the carpet in our rental house can stay, so all we have to do is replace the flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms and do some painting. We also want to fix up the deck and pull out some bushes that are dying.

Check out my peppers, finally turning colors other than green!

I got a little behind in my reading and didn’t have time to write a review for Middle Grade Madness last week. I have an ARC of a middle grade book that’s out this week, so I’ll just push it back and do MGM this week instead.

  1. I think quite a lot of us are busy this week! There must be something in the water at the moment.

I will have to check Emerge out. I hope it is still a freebie! 😀

  2. Those peppers look great already! I think it’s awesome that you grow your own vegetables. I had a pretty busy week as well. I hope your next week will be less busy!

  3. There’s something about growing and eating your own vegetables. We didn’t so much with our garden this year, but hopefully next year… that TBR list meme hosted by Michelle is kinda fun, having people vote on your next read. I’m thinking of doing that one too…
