Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

The 100 by Kass Morgan Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle

01. The 100 by Kass Morgan – The 100 is a midseason show for the CW and I definitely want to read it before I watch the show.

02. Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen – I love everything about the Robin Hood story so there’s really no reason for me not to have read Scarlet yet.

03. The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle – No lie, the main reason I haven’t read The Infinite Moment of Us is that I have the hardcover. I’m just too used to reading on my Kindle to want to hold a heavy hardcover.

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey The Hidden Summer by Gin Phillips

04. The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon – I feel like The Bone Season didn’t get AS MUCH hype in the book blogging community as it did out there in the rest of the world. The first I heard of it was on one of those morning shows: Today or Good Morning America. And although I’ve heard about it since then, I haven’t heard as much as I expected based on their praise of it. I’m curious to find out why, but no matter what, I hope I like the book.

05. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey – I’ve seen so many good reviews of The 5th Wave, and with the second book coming out in May, winter 2014 is the perfect time to read it.

06. The Hidden Summer by Gin Phillips – The Hidden Summer was one of the books I chose for my debut author challenge for 2013, but I didn’t get around to reading it and eventually selected another book to fill the June slot.

Happy Ever After by Nora Roberts The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead

07. Happy Ever After by Nora Roberts – I read the first three books in the Bride Quartet but never finished Happy Ever After. It was published in 2010, so I think it’s time I got back to it.

08. The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead – Now that The Walking Dead is on hiatus, the podcasts discussing the show that I listen to are winding down for a couple of months. Once I finish those up, it’s going to be time for a new audiobook. I want to finish up the one I’m listening to first, but it won’t be long before I’m ready to move on to The Fiery Heart. I love listening to this series on audio. I can’t wait to see what happens!

Camp Kiss by JK Rock Camp Boyfriend by JK Rock Camp Christmas by JK Rock

09. Camp Kiss, Camp Boyfriend, and Camp Christmas by J.K. Rock – I can’t believe I haven’t read these camp books yet. I love camp books! I never went to camp myself, so I have it romanticized in my mind and I devour camp books and movies.

Lies by Michael Grant Plague by Michael Grant Fear by Michael Grant Light by Michael Grant

10. Lies, Plague, Fear, and Light by Michael Grant – I’ve said before that I don’t understand why I can’t get into this series. I really struggled with the second book, and I have started Lies before abandoning it. I want to give the series another shot. If I can’t get into it this time I’m going to give it up for good. I wonder if I should go back and start over at the beginning.

  1. Scarlet is a brilliant book! I didn’t realize that it was a Robin Hood story until I started reading, that’s what I get for not reading the description.

I need to give the Gone series another try again too. I started reading Gone and I really liked it but for some reason I could work up the will to finish it before I hand to give it back to the library.
