Feature & Follow Friday: Thanksgiving Food

featurefollowfriday

Feature & Follow is a weekly blog hop hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

What’s your favorite Thanksgiving Day food? If you’re not American or Canadian, what is your favorite holiday food?

Not book related, but okay. My favorite food that I make on Thanksgiving is cornbread. I make my own (none of that Jiffy crap) in a cast iron cornbread pan. This year we didn’t really do Thanksgiving because I had a 12 hour shift and by the time I got home, I didn’t want to see any more food. I’ll make it soon though. We also have it at Christmas and with chili and anytime I feel like making it.

I love cornbread, haven’t had any for awhile. My grandma made some awesome cornbread when I was growing up.

  5. I love cornbread, but I don’t make it very often. It’s a must when I make chili or a pot of beans for my husband (I don’t eat those but I do eat the cornbread LOL). Mine’s from scratch too, no boxed mixes for this one 🙂

  6. Cornbread made from scratch in an old skool pan?! I am in heaven! That’s awesome. We had no rolls or anything last night and I missed it. We had cornbread stuffing though & that was good.
