Weekly Rewind: September 29 – October 5

The Weekly Rewind is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

My garden is coming along nicely, but this is the time I start to get worried. Although it was 90 on Friday, it got cold last night and I worry about my poor vegetables. I finally planted my garlic yesterday. Garlic is supposed to be very easy to grow.

Reviews: If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch, Asylum by Madeleine Roux, and 13 on Halloween by Laura A.H. Elliot

I’m TRYING to read and review as many Halloweenish books as I can this month, but unfortunately I didn’t decide to do this until…October 1. Way to plan ahead, right? I do have a few ARC reviews that need to be posted this month too, so I won’t be all paranormal/horror/etc.

Books I Acquired: Made of Stars by Kelley York

Currently Reading: Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins

I was pretty busy offline this week, which meant I had very little time online. I have even less of an idea than I usually do about what’s going on in the blogosphere. Did I miss anything important?

  1. Made of Star is supposed to be really good. I hope you are enjoying Demonglass, is a great series too.

  2. Ah my mom is worrying about her flowers all the time. The nights are getting really cold here. I hope your garden will stay safe.
For the book I have read Made of Stars (yet another review I must write). I hope you’ll enjoy it.
    Great post 🙂

    • My lettuce and spinach should be okay. I’m mostly worried about the peas. I still have a few tomatoes growing too.

I’m reading Made of Stars right now. I really like it but it seems like it’s taking me a long time to get through it. Maybe I just need some time to sit and read.
